Bob Fielding

I have lived at the same address in St. Annes since 1978, having been born and brought up in Bolton.

I am a Graduate of Liverpool University, with an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering and have spent my working life in a Manufacturing Industry environment, with particular experience in Production Engineering, Product Cost Calculation and Product Design and Development.

Before retiring in 2005, I was Technical Director of Dudley Industries Ltd., in Lytham.

I have always felt that the Town of St. Annes-on-Sea is a very special place to live, with a pleasant environment, but this does need protecting from unsympathetic development.

I want to do all I can to preserve and enhance the unique character of the Town, and believe that my experience in Industry equips me to do this.

Although St. Annes is a great place to live, there are still many areas that are less tidy than we would wish them to be and I hope to be able, through the Town Council, to bring about changes to improve these areas and also protect and preserve all that is best about the Town.
