Christine Akeroyd

Originally from Middleton near Manchester, I have lived in the Fylde since 1964. After school and university I worked in the Hospitality and Tourism industry and ended my career teaching Hospitality and Catering to students at Preston College. I became a borough councillor in the retirement of Milton Lane and Margaret Watson and I've had the honour to represent Kilnhouse Ward on Fylde Borough Council since 2001 and St Anne's Town Council since 2005. I have always worked for the best interests of the ward.
