Councillor Tony Ford

Tony Ford
I became a Town and Borough Councillor in May 2007.
I retired from the Headship of a large Primary School in August 2006 and now spend my time dealing with council matters, sitting as a Magistrate in Blackpool, invigilating exams in a High School, working as a volunteer on the East Lancs Railway in Bury and managing my allotment.
I am a member of Fylde Rugby Club, Blackpool and Fylde Rail User Group (BAFRU), Lytham Heritage Group and Lytham Civic Society.
I have a keen interest in local history and am eager to see the retention of buildings with character and/or historical significance in St. Annes.
I’m a councillor for Ashton Ward for both the Town Council and Fylde Borough.
